Basically i spilled some water on the keyboard and the trackpad. I let it dry out, took it to the genbar and they replaced the trackpad. except now one of the keys (the key between delete and enter/return) will randomly get stuck and type until i press the delete button. what can i do?

The keyboard consists of several layers. The "active" one (with all the switches and leads in) is most likely affected. Unfortunately this is almost impossible to fix. You might need a new topcase/keyboard)

how much would it cost to do something like this? also, do you think the spill could have damaged anything else according to how deep the water has gone down?

Is the key physically stuck or does it just remain in the pressed state although being up?

it remains in the pressed state although being up. so basically when i turn on my mb, randomly the key will start pressing the \ button until i press delete.
