The speaker shows the two devices are connected, but there isn't music playing.

Hi,
Check to see that the mute button is not activated, that the volume on the speaker is up. Also check that your music source is playing.
If still not working try pairing another device and see if it works.
If still no good clear the memory by holding the Bluetooth button for about 10 seconds (a tone will sound), then try re-pairing your device.
As a check to see if your speaker is working connect an audio source, using a 3.5mm stereo audio cable to the Aux input. Press the AUX button and check that the AUX source indicator is on. If there is no sound your speaker is faulty.
