Only usb port 'd' allows both cam and mouse
Only one usb port works correctly with cam and remote mouse--how can I repair the other 2 ports?

I'm not really certain of this on your machine but I have had experience in the past with machines that have more than 2 usb port. 2 will be powered ports and the rest usually are not so anything that requires power from the usb port to operate it will not work from that port. That being said there is also the possibility the port has lost it power functionality with a mosfit chip failure. A quick test to see if the chip has failed is to plug a usb device that has a led light attached ,like a web cam or a card reader as long as it has a light, into the port that's in question then turn on your computer and watch for the light to come on and if it fades away the chip is bad. replacing the chip requires micro soldering a new chip onto the board. Hope this helps

I have three usb ports, they all accept usb sticks with pics and videos, and they all light up when plugged in, but only one will give both sight and sound with cam, and that same one is the only one to allow the remote mouse to work....

oops!!! I thought the box below was answer to your answer... it has three usb ports, they all light up and read usb sticks, but only one gives both sight and sound with cam, and that same one is the only one that allows the cordless mouse to work

except these other USB equipment works fine with other ports ?

my problem was mis typed---only ONE usb port allows both sight and sound wsith cam, and that same usb port is the only one that allows the cordless mouse to work....the other two ports allow only usb reading
