cant get pins out to replace headband

Hello!...I am trying to replace the headband on my boys Beats Solo HD and I cant seen to get the pins out. It appeared while looking at it on vid that they actually fell out....not mine of course!.I am patient so before i go further I thought I would see if I could get help here. All is going great accept for this problem. I would be grateful if there is a way or trick to get them out. Thanks very much in advance for reading.

Options

Spray the pins and hinge with some lube, then tap, fairly hard with the end of a screw driver and the pins will fall out or stick out far enough to grab with tweezers.

Don't be afraid to hit it.
