Hello,I just used one of the step by step guides to replace the dc-in board.That now works fine hooray.However even though the machine powers up the display is black.I tried turning brightness up via keyboard and took the machine apart partially to check I reconnected all the right bits.I'm no expert so do not even know what cables even relate to the display,any help much appreciated.

double check all the ribbon cables and other connectors, perhaps one of the ones in step 39 of the repair guide - sorry I forget exactly which cable goes to the display, it's been a while since I opened this model PowerBook...
