Can I use a WiFi logic board in my WiFi+cellular iPad Air?

Hi guys, I am making a decision to either repair or replace my iPad Air. It was smashed by a kettle bell and needs a new screen, LCD, Battery and Aluminum back housing.

Anyway, all the parts add up in the cheapest case to be about $150 dollars. My logic board and peripherals are all still good. So I was thinking another way to do this would be to find and buy a locked iPad being sold as is from Ebay ($40-$100) and just throw my unlocked logic board in it. However I have seen many of the locked iPad Air + Cellular models for even cheaper than the WiFi only models and I was thinking about buying one but I'm not sure if my logic board will work in them. WIll it work? Has anyone done this?

Thanks for the help.

Physically this should work as both the WiFi and Cellular models have the same housing. This is not a good idea unless you are confident in working with iPads and know the exact model number that you want to replace it with. iPads of the same year and time period should work. If you decide to push through with this make sure that you carefully remove the cellular antenna connections since they most likely aren't supported (soldered) on your logic board.
