My lens sometimes acts like it has a purple filter over it.

Sometimes when I power or, or during filming, I get a purple colour across the lens like a purple filter. If filming it will go away after seconds or a minute. So times when I power up it is there a stays till I turn the power off. If I down load the sequence the colour shows up in the film ruining shots in a purple haze.

Hi, Have you tried to see if this occurs when you operate the camera with a charger connected and on? Do not try if connected to a PC, you need at least 5V 1A output from the charger which is more than a PC provides. I'm wondering if it is a power problem or a camera CCD connection problem

It is really random when it occurs, but seems to be happening more often. I will try connected to a charger.
