Hi,

First download, install and run Malwarebytes for Mobiles. If it finds malware, delete the malware and then see how your phone behaves.

Here is a link,

https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...

If it still has the problem after the malware check, perform a backup using the phone's backup feature and then perform a hard reset.

Be aware a hard reset will erase all your downloaded apps and user data. It will restore your phone to a factory default condition. It will be like when you first bought it. That is why it is important to perform a backup first before doing a hard reset.

Before performing a hard reset ensure that the phone is charged, then that the charger is not connected and the external SD Card (if any) is removed.

Here is a link that shows how to perform a hard reset.

See how the phone behaves now.

If there is still a problem it may be a hardware related one.

If there is no problem, restore the phone using the phone's restore feature, with the backup that you made earlier and see if the problem is back

If there is no problem then hopefully it has been fixed.

If the problem has returned then check if you have any downloaded apps which have 'permission' to access the camera? Notice in the image, under 'hardware controls' that it says take pictures and videos

Go to Menu > Settings > apps > downloaded > tap on all the apps and scroll down to view 'permissions' to see which ones have access to the camera.

If it happens regularly enough try 'force' stop' an app with this 'permission' and see if you can find out which one is causing the problem.
