I just recently brought a Suzuki fa50 and want to do an oil change. I've done the trans oil no problems but can't find where the drainage plug is for the motor oil. Please help thank you

Hi,
Here is the link to the service manual for your scooter.
The Fa50 has a two stroke motor, which means that the oil is mixed with the fuel to lubricate the engine parts and also in this case the bearings except instead of mixing the oil and fuel before you fill the fuel tank, the Fa50 uses Suzuki's CCI system where the oil is pumped in for lubrication. The oil level will need to be checked every time that you put fuel in, more often if you seem to be blowing a lot of smoke or however often once you have worked out your oil consumption rate .

On the side of the tank I can see the oil and it's really black. Can I still change the oil? Then bleed the line? Or do you have to run the oil out? Thanks again

Are you sure that this is not the 'normal' colour of the oil? Haven't used 2 stroke oil for a long time but seem to remember that it was a bit darker than engine oil but I might be wrong. Given that the oil is not circulating through the engine but is being used as required I'd be concerned about an air lock between the oil tank and the pump if you drain it. Haven't looked at it but is there a primer mechanism on the pump perhaps so as to overcome this if it happens. As long as there doesn't appear to be any water with the oil I would just wait till it was all used and then start with what I know is the correct grade oil. Those are my thoughts but I am no mechanic
