1 Replacement Stylus Flex Test
The SPen on my Note 5 has not worked in a while, never inserted it backwards and detection still works. When I spoke to Samsung they said it was "moisture" damage. Confused as the water damage sticker does not show that the phone has been wet. Regardless, the *#0*# Spen test showed no response to the Spen on the screen. I decided to order a new stylus flex (stylus digitizer) for the phone. I received it today and plugged it in without taking the LCD off, just to see if it worked or not. I moved the Spen around near the flex digitizer but cannot see any response on the screen.
Does it have to be pressed up against the screen to show response? Or as it also not working and the fault is in the motherboard.
