1 Why does my computer fall asleep every few minutes?
Hey everyone,
I'm having the weirdest problem. Every few minutes ( anywhere between 1-5) my computer randomly falls asleep. However, unlike normal sleep I can't wake it up by pressing on keys or even the power button. Instead I have to close the computer and reopen it. Doing so fixes the problem for another few or so minutes. I'm planning on taking it to Apple store, but I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem and new a quick fix for it.
p.s. I haven't changed any of the energy settings. It literally just started happening out of the blue one day.

Before I start, I would like to say that since I posted this thread, my computer has began to function properly.
Having said that, at the time the problem was occurring my energy settings were set to the default settings, and no the interval were not consistent. Additionally my computer was sitting on my laptop case which does have a magnetic strip on it in order to close; that might have been the problem.
Either way, thank you for the response/help!
