Any tips to achieve maximum performance in my S4?

You'd have to try custom roms and kernels for your phone while rooted. There isn't much support on the SPH-L720 when it comes to this. I don't think any of the custom ROMs on this phone model are near stable yet. Also can't seem to find any custom kernels for this variant.

Personally I wouldn't put any custom ROMs on this phone as they are no good as a daily driver and the kernel support is pretty bad. Like 0%. You'd have to stick to the stock kernel.

But there is one app in the play store I can recommend and that is called 'Root Booster' which of course requires your phone to be rooted.

There is nothing much else than that.

Yeah, the main problem is that I can't find any custom kernels for the SPH-L720 that are on lollipop 5.0.
