Overheating normal or defective product?
My FoodSaver doesn't turn back on after I use it for more than 15 minutes until I let it sit. Is this normal or might it be a defective product?

Your device has probably just overheated, so it is definitely not a defective project. The sealing process uses heating strips to seal the bags, so you need to give the device time to cool down after each seal. You can read more about this on our troubleshooting page.
