Lost video on monitor
took back off blew out all dust or particleas rebooted able to log in and screen went black. Powered down fully charged battery. Rebooted and havent had any problems ran Norton and been running no problems, I noticed it was warm when the screen flickered a few colors and lines the went black. I think the display cable got hot and failed. As long as it stay cool I havent had any more problems.

This actually sounds like a GPU issue on a different model of the same era. Please check here by entering your serial number and let us know your exact machine. That number is located in your battery compartment.
