I just change my lcd on my 6 plus for another, it's a genuine Apple one and it's all good but the top where the status bar clock is to about an inch down has a dark spot where the backlight is.
Is my screen dodgy or did I miss something?
Also I don't know why but I put the pentalobe screws back in and now I can't get them out.
Any advice on either would be most helpful.

Hi Tony,
the darker spot is quite common with lower quality screens, which is why I want to ask how much you paid for the assembly and where you ordered it. It just might be a copy and to my knowlegde, you can't really do anything about it.
Regarding your bottom screws, when closing your iPhone 6, make sure that the 2 little metal "feet" at the bottom of the screen are in a 90° angle with the rest of the screen. If this is not the case, the bottom screws can get stuck getting in and out of their holes.

It was from the replace base, it was £105 and seems just like my original one on the inside, could it be a cable not seated properly? If I could get the screws back out if be able to check, wish I'd powered on before I put them in.
a possible fix for the bottomscrews is putting a tiny drop of superglue on the tip of your screwdriver, then letting it attach to the screw and while putting some force towards the screw gently turn it counterclockwise
Well my quality screwdriver arrived and the screws came straight out so to everyone don't use the cheap eBay ones. I removed the screen about 4 times and it came back on with white lines on one side so I kept trying the connectors and they were on right so I left the phone off and 2 hours later and it's fine, phone looks brand new again and with a gold back and a black front looks awesome

I bought an iPhone 6s Plus screen from an Amazon seller for $43.99.
First time turning it on no dark area. When customer was given phone he entered his pass key only to find a dark upper right hand corner of the screen.
A follow up....IEZFIX. This is the seller on Amazon. Sending a complaint about this.
