After a while my Samsung UE40JU6400KXXU turns itself off if it thinks no-one is watching.
How can I increase the period before the self turn-off or stop it turning itself off, please.

This kind of setting is usually in the Eco settings area, in there there should be an auto off function, (and well as an away of mode) from there you should be able to turn it off/change the time but I recommend (if it has it) turning that off and setting it so that if there is no signal to turn off after 15 min, also if you have say an Xbox, you can set it for when inactive for like 1-6 hours to turn off and then the tv will turn off 15 min after that...

Thank you for this answer. I had this delivered only a week or so ago, and I love the picture. I tried the Eco setting and think you have cured my problem.
