Question about step 5 of oculus cv1 teardown guide

Hi

I opened my box of oculus cv1，but I found my oculus is almost like this

I want to try to repair it ,so I tear down it following the guide （Oculus Rift CV1 Teardown），but I don't understand the step 5。How to take out the frame with stretchy black lycra？Here is my picture(http://i.imgur.com/8F9a4cG.jpg

)，does the nail with red drawed need to be taken out？ How to take it out？

I have the exact same issue, was Adjusting the strap and the arm just popped out and now I have no idea how to fix it. Cant figure out how to get this thing open...

Hi Chase and Wan,

Do either of you happen to know if the CV1 is able to operate with the strap-arm, and that ribbon cable disconnected?
