No Power, it shut off one day and hasn't worked since.

I Have a Yamaha EMX512SC I used it for my humble online Church making music for others, and for the Lord. The unit mostly worked to power the Drums (electronic) and one day, it just stopped working (I've owned it for many years). Nothing, no lights, nothing. I took it apart thinking I would find a fuse or something and I got in over my head. I know a multitude, but not electronics. It's spread out on my table now, it's been on the floor under the table for many months. Now, I'm putting it back into practice. I pray the Lord will help resolve this. Thank you Father, and thank you whomever cares to help me try to resolve this. Humbled I am, and thank you all for your good deeds. I've included a stock image and the PDF for repair.

I did the continuity test on the Fuse it is good. Then on the Brown Plug on board not wire and it shows spike then down to 1. To get it to do it again, I reverse the black and red and it will do it again once.

I just the wires from the Switch on the front by hooking red to one wire and black to the other.

When I pushed the switch on and off I could see the continuity move for a little then back to 1

Thank you again, and God Bless. Now, I wait for you help. Peace and Love. Humbled I am.

@others start of by checking the fuse. For that you will need a multimeter. If you do not have one, or do not have access to one (depending on your location), let us know so we can help you build a quick and dirty continuity tester. You will have to check the fuse for continuity. If it does not have continuity, replace the fuse first. Fixing this can turn into a bit of a task given your background and knowledge. Bear with us and I am sure the we can get it done somehow. It will also help tremendously if you can post images of your circuit boards with your question. For that use this guide

Thanks I didn't know if that was the fuse. I have a Multitester, but I don't know how to use it.

I'll go to the garage and dig it out and Google how to use it and I'll let you know the progress. Thank you so much. Tick Tock... :) Humbled I am.

I think I need a new Multimeter, it's OLD and doesn't read anything but a bouncing 00.1 to 00.3 under 320 3200uA

It wasn't the Fuse. Still nothing. I push the button on, and it's as though there is no power. :(

Have you checked with your multimeter to see if you have power on the fuse. Use one probe of the multimeter on the brown wire and the other on the fuse. See what voltage it shows. Make sure that your meter is in AC Voltage mode. How did you check the fuse? Remember to post images of yourboard with your question.

Thanks I had no idea what to do next. I took the fuse to Home Depot, because my Multimeter I can find, seems to not work. There we tested the continuity, and I bought two new ones. Thanks I'll pull it back off and see what happens. I am clueless. Thank you for your help. I'll get to that in a little while. I should go get a new Multimeter. They have one on sale at Harbor Freight for $24 today. Thanks I'll take some photos in a while when I get back and open it up again. Thank you so very much! I am very Humbled.
