How to repair broken screen and broken Apple lid logo

Hi.

Recently my MacBook 11'' screen was broken, I don't really know how it happened. I've have this laptop for only 3 months and paying for it monthly.

I want to know how I can fix this. Please see the photos below, I want to ask if I can buy a new screen and change it, will it help me?

I don't really care about the logo and it doesn't matter if it remains the way it is now. I just want to fix the screen.

Thank you for your help.

Ouch!

From what I see it looks like something pointy struck the Apple logo breaking it and as the force was so great it also broke the screen. What ever it was it did a good number here.

OK, first I would see if your AppleCare will cover it (did you get AppleCare Plus package?) If not thats still OK, its just trying to save you some money.

Here's the IFIXIT guide to replace the complete assembly: MacBook Air 11" Early 2015 Display Replacement by far this is the easiest way to fix this and here's the part you'll need: MacBook Air 11" (Mid 2013 to Early 2015) Display Assembly - Apple P/N 661-7468. You might find a used display for less on eBay just be careful on how you pay for it and can return it.

I don't recommend trying to replacing the LCD subassembly here as you are likely to break to cover glass in the process and besides you would leave your system exposed to damaged without the Apple logo present.

Last thing here you should get a good case for your system to protect it. Don't forget to put it some where something can't fall on it or have something placed on it that could crush it.
