(iPhone 6) No power after new screen

I replaced the screen and the battery on an iPhone 6. After this repair i plunged it in and it work perfectly fine, So i let the phone sit on my desk for about a week. Then i picked it up and it would not power on. so i plugged it in and still nothing. Any ideas? I have never had this and i have fixed many iPhones in the past.

Sam,

Have you tried plugging the device into a computer to see if the display has simply died?

I'd also suggest trying a hard rest - holding the power and lock button down for 10 seconds until you see the apple symbol reappear.

If these don't work, if you start by removing the display, battery, and charging port, and seeing if the device then comes to life you know one of those three things are the issue. If that doesn't work, then you know you're looking at a board level issue.

Hope this helps!

Stephen

Well i tried this on the phone and nothing worked. I will look into a new logic board. I just find it odd that it would for a few days and then just quit. But thank you so much for helping me anyways!

Unplug the front camera connector after you have unplugged the battery, then plug battery back in and see if it turns on.

Hey Sam,

If you tried the motherboard with ONLY the battery, display, and charging port connected (preferably all new parts to eliminate the possibility that the parts are the problem) then I'm afraid you're looking at board level damage somewhere.

The iPhone 6 is prone to frame bending, I would assume without knowing your device history that it could have something to do with that, but its never for sure, mostly this ends up appearing in your ability to touch and move things on the screen before it makes the display go black
