Where is the actual switch for the Touchpad click?

some forum members elsewhere suggest to take the MBP to Apple for repair when the switch is becoming unreliable. They suggest that it is okay to live without one's Mac for a week. I find it's not okay.

So looking at your teardown pics the touchpad seems to be hinged, resting on the switch which is - where?
