I have a repair wanting to be done for a Galaxy s6 Edge+. I try to stick with the guys that I usually buy parts from. The s6 edge+ is G928A, but I am being offered a G928F full screen assembly with small parts. I just want to be sure that my leg isn't being pulled and if those are compatible or not. Thanks in advance.

For what it is worth, this supplier shows that the screen and digitizer assembly are compatible.
You could always contact them to verify.

http://www.repairsuniverse.com/samsung-g... Thats the part I was basically asking about. Its the full screen assembly of G925F and not just the LCD and digitizer. eTrade Supply shows one full screen assembly but it shows to work only on G925A. The lcd and digitizer options say G925A and G925F.

Suggest then that you contact Etradesupply (even if they don't supply) and see what they say. At least that way if they agree with your supplier that's two who say it should work.
If it's without the screen frame it will work on all sm-g928 models.
The difference with the modeling of the last letter (SM-G928x) is for different carriers such as T-Mobile, sprint, Verizon and stuff like that.
They also use different firmwares (system software / Android operating system) that are suited best for that model.
It's been like this for Samsung phones for quite a long time. I don't think they have changed that yet or plan to in the future.
Though if the screen comes with the frame it will matter as antenna, wifi, bluetooth and baseband chips on the board will be in different locations which will not let the board sit in properly with the frame.
TL-DR: Do not worry about the last letter if the LCD is without frame. It matters that the model number starting with sm-g928 is the same, excluding the last letter.
