Finding replacement AC condenser

I have been unable to find a replacement AC condenser for my 1984 Toyota pick-up. The OEM number is 88460-89109. Four Seasons, Spectra and other aftermarket manufacturers make a usable AC condenser but no one has one. Any tips on anyone who may have one is appreciated. An air conditioning shop suggested using an universal AC condenser that fits into the space of the OEM AC condenser and then customizing the connections as required. Please help. Dan, It sounds like you have already researched your options pretty well, If nothing available at the auto recycling yards( remember wrecking yards have access to search most USA & CAN yards) some times they have tips and tricks on a different model that would work. If no luck, then you may have to go universal if nothing else available. Hope this helps, good luck.
