Has the phone ever been repaired? Something below the screen is slightly putting pressure on it that causes it to show a rainbow effect. It may be your battery. It's common for batteries to bloat after a certain amount of use. I would open it up if you have a pentalobe screw driver laying around and see what the issue is. Let us know what you find out.

yeah it has been repaired but i've checked it out it's not the battery everything seems to be connected well , i think it's the home button that's causing the pressure and the pressure seems to appear when you press the home button

Okay, good to know! So it narrows down to being a low quality LCD assembly or the home button connection to charging port is crooked causing it to discolor when pressed.

will it affect the lcd functionality later on because the lcd is still perfectly fine currently and something about this phone i don't wanna open it again to try and readjust the home button because when you try to detach the lcd from the board and put it back then switch the phone on ghost clicking starts even if the FPC connector is well placed on the digitizer flex cable

It won't affect the LCD after longterm use.

Is it the pressure on the glass or LCD that causes the rainbow spots?

perhaps the tech who repaired your phone, left a screw or piece of glass (from your previous lens) and it's lodged between the LCD and some other internal component . pressing the home button down may be causing the pressure spot you're experiencing. i'd take care of it ASAP so no permanent damage is done to the LCD.

I am facing similar issue too. My iphone 5s has never been opened and this effect has started appearing since 1-2months. In my case whenever i press the home button, the screen right above it shows rainbow marks. I tried pressing at other points too to see if the screen reacts again but it showed those pressure marks at same point despite being pressed at different places on phone. When i press the back of the phone, then too pressure marks appear at same point. Is there a fix ?
