Peavey Vip 2 that just makes poping noises & no lights
i read that the power supply is probably bad & its a 100 bones from peavey, does anyone else do repair on these?

kent diablo it is very difficult to offer any repair service on here. that would make it a very subjective answer and is really not what ifixit is all about. Here we can offer you advice on how to fix it by yourself. Or at least get you started.
What I would suggest for you to do, is get a multimter, open your amp and check the power supply. Check the fuse F1 as well as the transformer. If you can, post some images of your boards so we can see what you see. For that use this guide
