Why Is My Home Button Non Responsive After Screen Replacement? iPod 5

Hello all,

I am posting to ask why my home button is not responsive on my ipod touch 5th gen after a screen replacement? The button still clicks, it just does react on the ipod at all.

Any suggestiongs are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
