How to remove the cover and/or service manual that includes that.

The print carriage won't unlock from the home position; and yes I've tried all the usual, including reset.

I need to disassemble/remove the plastic cover without snapping it; the repair might be simple, such as a spring or gear mesh.

A plus would be a real link to the service manual.
