Solution retenue

Hi, Until you get your phone fixed try using a USB mouse connected via an appropriate OTG (on the Go) cable to the phone to navigate through the phone. It is a bit awkward but at least you can do things like backup your phone etc before anything else happens to it. A USB keyboard also works the same way on most Android phones if you need to input a pin number to unlock the phone and then switch to a mouse to navigate. Pattern locks are harder though

I can confirm Sony Xperia flagship phones all support OTG.

Is the screen glass cracked? If yes then get the screen replaced. The glass is actually fused together with the digitizer touch screen and when it cracks touch screen functionality dies.
