The copy DVD stopped playing, was irratic but when I fast forwarded it, it played like the original but with no sound/no music. Original DVD is a dance DVD. I noticed it took a long time (several minutes) to burn a copy of the original DVD.
Help!

Get a CD/DVD head cleaner and give that a try for both drives.
You may need to burn a fresh disk, make sure the disk is dust & fingerprint free and try using the slower burn speed.

How slow is slow? I made another dvd copy and slowed it down, but it still skipped...playing rough...and only playing well when I fast forwarded it again.
there was no sound again to go along with that correct play.
Am I making a copy the wrong way? What else can I try?
It plays perfectly on the Mac computer's dvd player but not the dvd player connected to the TV. The blank dvd is new, good brand Sony dvd-r...clean and not dusty or scratched.
