Why does my moto e screen blacked out but the sound stills works?
Working fine this morning until I dropped it and it blacked out but music was still playing from it.

You will need a replacement screen by the sounds of it.

You may have broken your LCD display in the drop. If you look closely in the right light, you may see fractures along the lcd somewhere.
