One of the ear bud wires got pulled and now no sound comes from that side

I have this problem too. I'm not electrical savvy and don't want to damage the headset any further trying to solve the problem. How would one go about reconnecting the wires so that both speakers work again?

Well i havent had the time to try this but i know the ear bud can be pulled apart and rewired back but when i get a chances to do it I'll tell how it worked out for me
