iPhone 7 bent error 4013 when trying to restore.

Hey I got an iphone 7 from a customer today that gives error 4013 when trying to restore. The iphone has a good bend at about the screen connector area and bootloops when not in dfu mode. Any good ideas or places for me to start?

Take the logic board out of the housing and try to restore, 4013 is usually a NAND issue unfortunately.

Great answer! I can always reball the NAND do you think think that might do it?

par

It might, the only way to find out is to try.

@pccheese is right. You'll have to reball. You can't swap the nand for a different one, it has all your data on it. Reballing in itself is a technique you'll have to learn. I'm still not sure about mine

Start with the bend. There is probably an IC around the bent area that has a damaged solder connection.

I figured that but I dont know how to check if they have been compromised. do you know any techniques for this?

par

You'll want to get a digital multimeter and test the circuits (capacitors and such) around the area and find out if it's actually one of those that's the problem. Microsoldering is not for the beginner repair tech. I've already spent thousands on my lab, and very interested in spending thousands more. Not to mention the man/woman/transgen...people hours you'll need to learn how to use the techniques to do this work

I have this issue now with my customer i would try reheating the nand ill update you all
