What 's the kinds of stones I can use and how can I drill it?

@kassab - Starting a fire without a match can be done many ways!
- Flint and steel which is by far the easiest to carry with you when hiking.
- Friction using two things that when rubbed at a high speed create heat. Often you don't have the needed parts or a means to create them to do this (which I think was your core question here).
- Sunlight using a magnifier (to concentrate the light) which can be a lens made from glass or plastic or even use water! Using a sheet of plastic, a broken bottle or, even a shiny metal pan. Dependent on the Sun being available.
- Chemical which creates a reaction of fire or high heat. Not very practical when lost.
In all of these you still need dry tinder & burnable items for fuel.
