i have a macbook white , it works very well but the speed only works at 2000 rpm , when i use imovie o play some game it is about 85 -90 grades and the fan always at 2000rpm , i have a macbook aluminium 1278 and when it is in 80 grades the fan speed works at 6200rpm ,why?

Try this:
1. Turn off your computer.
2. Plug in your power adapter.
3. Hold these following keys to the left of the space bar: Shift+Control+Option+Power at the same time.
4. Release all of these keys.
5. Turn on your computer. Is it good now?
If this doesn't work and you are concerned about your Macbook overheating, download SMC Fan Control. You can set a lower threshold for fan speed and it will control your fan speeds.
