Hi, i've a IPhone 6 Plus. I have made a screen replacement but i just replace a Home Button (original) but not replace a flex cable (original) in metal plate. And not replace flex cable (original) maybe a reason Touch ID not working?

My old screen have damaged. So i replace a new screen with the (original) home button but not replace a flex cable (original) in metal plate. I mean the flex cable can maybe reason touch ID not working?
