home button and strap not working
Ive replaced both home button , cover plate and strap without luck.
I am forced to use the accessability app to sub for home button

You may have a defective replacement part. A quick way to test this is to open the device but keep the screen and battery connected. Turn it on and then short the two gold pins seen on this image (right below the red circle). These are the Home Button contacts and they correspond the the two gold circles on the Home Button flex.
If shorting the pins work, then you either have a defective part or improperly aligned Home Button flex. If the two gold pins don't work, then you probably have a defective Lightning Dock Flex.
