Black screen at start up. No logo, nothing.hear spin up & chimes done.

Removed battery. Used power adapter and still a black screen. Lights across front show functioning Heard the spin up. Windows chime of success. Yet, still a black screen. Might someone have an answer to remedy/fix this situation ?

Had worked fine right up until I went to restart. After a proper log off/shut down. Now , just a black screen ...

Again: appreciate a solution to correct "black screen"
