Optical drive is faulty.
Hello,
After a couple of days the optical CD disc drive went faulty. All inserted CD's, even the orginal System discs were spitted out. First I tried a cleaning CD which was also not accepted.
I went on MacUpgrades.co.uk site which had no spares for the optical drive. Even when I asked for an external one they said that the iMac was too old!!! I don't want to get rid of him because I need him for special work which he does fine for me. I have to upload files, so I need the drive, internal or external whatever.
