Purchased a Gear Fit 2 and the person didn't unlock it from its original account. Now I can't use the device. Is there a way to bypass the reactivation lock or reflash the watch to go back to the factory default so I can use it?

This function is used to lock factory reset and wipe device! Join in contact to your sale and request to unlock on his samsung account! If the device was not stoled, he will do it easily! However! If the device was stoled you will be finded easily.
The sale must to join on samsung account at "Find My Mobile" (https://findmymobile.samsung.com/) then unlock at the padlock icon.

No not necessarily. My watch was not stolen and it won't unlock and keeps resetting itself

Why would you not wanna go back to factory default?
You should always wipe things when you get them as you dont know what could be on them and that could get you in alot of trouble.
So just wipe it. There is nothing that concerns you. Or you could ask the person you bought it from for the code.

I have attempted to use the factory reset but that doesn't erase the reactivation lock. I appreciate your assistance however that doesn't work. I contacted the person that sold it to me and they gave me a run around and then stopped communicating with me. I contacted Samsung and they too said that the account that locked it should unlock it. That is why i am reaching out here to see if anyone could help me.
