Why won't my g priv turn on
i have a g priv and nothing shows up on the screen when i go to turn it on. it worked the other day and now suddenly when i tried to turn it on nothing happens.

Press the on button three times. That failing, change the battery.

HELP I just bought my third smok xpriv the other two would not turn on they were brand new. Now my third from a different carrier wont turn on iv checked my batteries an made sure they are on correct. Press the fire button five time nothing!!!! When I put the batteries in the vape come on an says smok an goes off...am I missing something
Mine is all of a sudden doing the same thing too the coloured light flash then says the smok thing and that’s it??
As the site mentions, put the batteries in. push fire button 5x.

I dropped mine and I made took the batteries out and put them back in. It would flash the Smok screen but nothing worked. I hit the fire button 5 times and it booted right up. No issues since.

Take battery's out. Hold all the buttons then replace battery's then turn on

Yes that worked for me thank you i dropped mine in water and the screen won’t work it just has the backlight but i could turn it on and use it up until last night when it just stopped so i charged the batteries in my separate charger (i don’t like charging the vape itself) and still nothing was stressing out but this trick worked your awesome thanks

Mine won’t turn on but when I close the battery door it does a quick flash of green but it won’t turn on or anything after that how do I fix it?

It's dead. Mine makes a small p sound. Slight green lights. It's a piece of cra p the last smok product I ever buy

I just bought mine today, charged it up, used it a few times throughout the day, turned the vape off, went to use it again 2-3hours later and NOTHING.. it won't turn on, I see no notification of any lights, I checked the batteries & charged them, at 100% and the device still won't turn on.. I'm confused on why it would suddenly stop working & for what reason?

Mine too. Fresh batteries still nothing.
Me too. I bought mine today. Put in fresh, charged batteries but when I hit the power button 5 times like I'm supposed to it wont turn on. I haven't been able to turn it on since I bought it today.

Mines won’t turn on at all charge battery and then bought a battery charger still nothing lights will come once I put it on the charger but after that nothing

Same, SMOK &&^&^$^ SUCKS!!!! CHEAP ASS POS MADE BY CHINESE KIDS FOR 10 CENT AND CHARGE US 75$ FOR IT. I HOPE SMOK GOES BANKRUPT THEY ARE A $@$*!& COMPANY. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY.

I've had the same problem numerous times with my g-priv ProPod. Think I've finally found a fix. I removed the battery and put it on charge, I was surprised to see the screen still on. But then I just unplugged it and reinsert the battery and its been OK for the day so far. Probably not recommended by the makers but if you've tried everything else here maybe this will work for you too.

I'm using mine for 2 months. I've tried all of the above with no result, your advice worked for a few minutes, than it stopped again. I'd add just to make it clear to anyone who finds this thread, that it's the mod you have to insert a charger to, when it's empty. The batteries are charged for me, I'm using an external charger for that because in the past vapes of different kinds broke for me, the charger cable's metal plug thingy came out and I was advised not to use a cable to charge, but an external charger, so this is what I do . I've tried again, this time the Smok text appeared on the screen and that the battery is charged 100% (there was no battery inside). Third time is a charm, it stayed on this time, but it happened again and again, and after a few times it stopped reacting totally. Black screen. As I've read on Smok's website I may need a firmware update so I've reached out to them via email on support@smoktech.com, and the website I purchased it from if they can replace it. Now we wait..

I purchased the H Priv 2 about a month ago. The first one worked about a week and the screen died. It would fire, but no screen, it wasn't in stealth mode. The company I purchased it from replaced it. So great, grabbed new, freshly charged batteries, popped them in, vaped on and off for about 3 days. One day, it just wouldn't turn on. Doubled check batteries in another mode, fine. Bought new batteries, charged them (I always charge externally) and still nothing. I'm so irritated! I contacted the company and demanded a refund. I will never buy another smok product!

Thank Craig, Followed your advise and it worked, the only thing I would add to your advise is that when you remove the batteries and press the big and the small buttons at the same time, keep them pressed while you re inserting the batteries, thn when you finish re inserting the battery then press 5 times.

Yes remove the batteries wait at least a minute. Make sure the batteries are fully charged hold both buttons, reinsert the batteries and if needed hit the fire key 5 times for restart. Viola!? Has worked for me in the past, must be the way to reset.

There is obviously something wrong with the priv. I am getting the same issue. Mine is 2 months old. Not been dropped. Smok is definitely crap. I am moving on to something else. And you should too

I had similar issues and had to push in the bottom (I think it gets loose if you drop) when pressing the 5 times. Has stayed on since.

Do you see any error lights or is the device unresponsive after pressing the button three times?

I get a blank screen, a very slight green led light is on and a very very slight hissing sound. It's and electrical sound kind of like the letter p but very faint. I open battery door and it stops. Battery are fully charged using nitecore and verified on another mod. I checked the ribbon inside and it worked for a week. Now it's dead?
All wires look to be sodered correctly. It may be the board? Any ideas?

Mine is doing same thing batteries are fine and ive hhad it for months dropped it this morning now screen stays black only hear a high pitch electrical like buzzing sound wont do anything no idea how to fix
