How do I glue the white screen gasket on my MacBook A1342?

The white screen gasket (trim) on my MacBook A1342 is peeling off. How do I insert it back? It keeps peeling back off even when I insert it back. It only happens at one specific spot. I don't want to replace the trim. I just want to glue it back in. What kind of glue-adhesive may I use?

I would guess a small amount of superglue would work just fine. I'd get a second opinion , though - I never like to pose as an expert - I don't know how the glue would react to rubber. Just use it sparingly and wisely.

@secondlife Thank you for your comment. If you add it as an answer I will select it as a solution. I´ll try to look up the special glue you mentioned but I think I will just cut one or two milimiters off the trim and then stick it back in. The reason it´s pulling out is that it got stretched somehow so now I can´t push it back in. Disassembling the screen is out of question as it´s too much trouble, I don´t have the tools and could do more harm than good. Thank you

Don't use standard super glue; it will discolor the plastic and won't have a strong hold. Loctite has a special cyanoacrylate formulated for plastic. Look up "Loctite 681925" for details. To do this RIGHT you'll want to disassemble the screen so that the gasket sits properly behind the glass. You could try fudging it by just pushing it back into place, but then you're going to be pushing the adhesive out of where it needs to be.
