So what about those 'normal' temperatures?

Ok, after spending a few hours searching through google to find what are 'normal' temperatures for the Macbook Pro.

Mine with

Load Avg: 0.33, 0.40, 0.43 CPU usage: 6.63% user, 8.5% sys, 85.30% idle

is ~65-66oC when using the dedicated GPU and ~5-8oC lower when using the embedded one.

it hits 90-95 when playing games like World of Warcraft (heavy load, yeah) before the game starts to 'slow down'... I imagine due to overheating.

So what are the temperatures the CPU and GPU are expected to work on? What's too high and can cause drop in performance?

Thanks!

I use a program called Temperature monitor which will indicate which temps are out of line. I also use their paid version.

Temperature Monitor is an application to read out all accessible temperature sensors in Macintosh computers. The program can visualize the history graphs of the readings, display measured values in a large variety of fashions, or announce readings by speech output. It can also store and export values.

Temperature Monitor is the small gratis version of the application Hardware Monitor. Hardware Monitor can additionally display "non-temperature" sensors and artificial operating system probes, or control external LCD panels. Temperature Monitor is part of a software suite of 9 different monitoring applications which can be used for numerous purposes.

Temperature Monitor is electronically distributed software. You can download the product free of charge.

Hey, I do also have Temperature Monitor and Temperature Monitor Lite. But the fact is I don't know when it is 'out of line'. Like now I started playing World of Warcraft and my temp hit 103oC, which for sure is not normal. I will be changing the thermal grease soon and clearing the radiators, but still! That kind of temperatures are INSANE. Also I just purchased CoolBook Controller, and waiting for the license to go through. Let's see if it helps.
