Why is my audio jack now working

When I connect my headphones to my mobile via the audio cable..both the speakers work but the sound comes in the form of an eco and no beats are felt..I guess the audio jack is causing some problem so what should I do..?

Options

ROM JP a bad connector will not change the quality of your sound. Connect your headphone to a different piece of equipment to see if they sound different.
