Thanks, but I don’t understand why it will not work.
The connector is not the same and the flex cable that has the connector is not the same length so it will not reach the connector on the logic board (even if you wanted to try and change it.
Apple seems to be intent on not producing compatible parts. They go out of their way to do so. Even on something as simple as a 2012 hard drive cable, the logic board connectors are different. One vertical and one horizontal.
