Is The G920R7 (LTE-A) Frame & LCD Compatible With G920F Motherboard?

Hi All,

Just wondering as per title is The G920R7 (LTE-A) Frame & LCD Compatible With G920F Motherboard?

Watching a cheap G920R7 on eBay that's got a good LCD but is blocked (currently costs a lot less than a new LCD) & I have a unlocked G920F motherboard here where the rest of the phone is destroyed.

Anyone know if this will work and I can just slot in my working motherboard into this G920R7 unit??

In oder to get the G920F motherboard to sit on the G920R frame it can be done you need to shave a bit on the base on the top left hand side as the Board doesn’t sit flush but can be adjusted to sit flush by shaving or grinding the notches on the base where the Board sits
