@tj777 start with the power board. Unplug your TV and remove the back. check all the boards but for now focus on the power board. Samsung still has issues with bad capacitors. Check those for any doming, leaking or otherwise damaged looking. Post some images of your boards with your question. that way we can see what you see. Use this guide for that Ajout d'images à une question existante

You will at least have access to a multimer so you can do some basic testing.

I recently had a problem with a 58" samsung TV that blinked 6 times. I opened it up. All the voltages on the power supply board checked out ok. Turned out that it was the LED backlight strips that had burned out. The LED's on these strips are connected in series. When one burns (open circuit), the rest on the strip won't light. Got some replacement strips, spent a couple hours pulling the TV apart and replacing the strips, put it back together and all is well. I've read that the LED's on these models are prone to burnout when you set the brightness to maximum (20). Turn down the brightness to 15 or 16 and it may prolong the life of the LED backlights on your TV. Be careful when checking the LED connector voltage, it runs at about 300V DC. Sounds high but the LED's are connected in series - 3V each times 14 LED's per strip, times 6 strips = 252V

@tomstephenson what we did not know at the time that this question was asked, was the blink code. Samsung in general does not use a public blink code but we now know that 6 blinks are a bad backlight.

Thanks @oldturkey03. I'm not sure about the blinking. Even after the tv was fixed, the light flashes 5 times while starting up. I think the blinking is normal for this TV. When powering on, the Smart TV logo shows up during the first blink, the HDMI picture shows up on the third blink and it blinks two more times after that. TV works fine and it's been working now for nearly two weeks after repair, so I think maybe the blinking is not a troubleshooting code.

@tomstephenson as long as it works! if it ain't broke, don't fix it
