iMac 2013 fan stop working

I have a iMac 2013 which the fan stoped working. I sawped with 2 other fans and still not working. Reformat the drive and nothing. If I use it with little power the iMac rise over 200 degrees and shut down itself.

I may think it could be the logic board but I’m not convinced that just a fan could damage the entire board without making any other symptom.

Any advice?

Hi, I swapped the original fan with 2 other fans and nothing. I'm using it right now but is insanely slow. This is the Activity Monitor.

Lets see if we can get some better diagnostics. Download this great app: TG Pro sadly the free version won't tell you that much you'll need to pony up the $18 to get the full version. Once you get it running take a screen shot of the main app window and paste it here so we can see it too. Go into edit mode in your Q to post it.

Gabriel - I'm a bit perplexed here! TG Pro diagnostics it telling us the fan is wired, but the RPM is not showing up. So I'm suspecting the fan is not turning (jammed).

Can you tell us were your system is located, is it within your office or on the shop floor? Wood dust and shavings could be jamming the fan.

No, is in a Home Office. I also uploaded High Sierra from scratch to see if it is a software issue but nothing.

Do you have a Apple SSD or a 3rd party SSD? Or do you have a HD or Fusion drive?

Apple ssd. Bought CTO.

Also did a AHT and shows a issue with the fan. Search online and nothing was found.

What is the exact AHT error

Was your problem ever fixed as am having the same issue. Swapped out 2 fans just like you. But nothing. Also when I do a hardware test, I get a fan error.

Did you get a error code? Tell us what it is.

Hi! Nope, it is a sensor near the fan connector which burnt out. If you don’t know how to repair boards you will need a new logic board.
