Hello,
today my phone fell and my display glass broke (Samsung G. S3 Neo), the display normally works, but I have a big crack there. I do not want to put my phone in the repair shop, so I wonder if it can not get worse or something, and that the display will stop working.

There is always a risk of the LCD or the digitizer breaking a short time after the glass. It may be best not to press your luck, back up the phone, and purchase a replacement.

eseesntially, that depends on how you handle it.
yes, the display can get worse. depending one if you put pressure on the screen, or drop it again. The crack will impose what is known as the "notching effect" and cause issues. that doesnt mean it will though. if it is handled with care, it shouldnt get worse.
