I stuck the sim tool accidentally in the microphone port on the Pixel 2 xl. Did i damage anything in the process? or waterproofing?

Make a call and / or a voice recording.
If you can hear your recording, or if the other person can hear you when you call them, you will be ok.
Otherwise, you're going to have to replace the mic.

Depends How Hard you forced it in their? And Sadly It's one of those things that if you do check and it's not Waterproof... You instantly know :/ If you have a warranty on... You could try it, They ain't gonna know that you poke a whole through the seal. But i'm pretty sure the seals in the new phones these days are made to withstand water with the right isp rating!
