The guitar loses connection tot he console. I think the cable has a broken wire right at the guitar side but the cable is molded and cannot be repaired. Also the whammy bar is broken inside. The tab that attaches to the inside roller/spring mechanism busted off.

Sounds like the cable is faulty. The same thing happens to my xbox wired controller from (i believe) years of wrapping it up. Unfortunately, this probably means your only solution is a new guitar. Best of luck!
